We were in my office, I was working but there was no one else in the entire office. Then you came, the day before yesterday and there was someone else, I don't remember who. Then something happened and I killed a person in the office, after which everything spiraled and there was some kind of murder spree in the building where there was almost no one. Then we went back up to the office to finish our games. Just when we had cleared out and decided to run, a lot of colleagues entered the offices and we barely missed each other. You fell behind me and I went to the elevators but the police were already there and had cordoned off the place with tape as well as the stairs. I looked back but you weren't there and I started to call you until I ran with my backpack to hurry avoiding the police along one of the corridors which is on the 5th floor but somehow led to an exit. I contacted you and told you where to come, but you were just caught while we were talking, but then you wrote to me that your mother would fix things, but the police were mainly looking for me. After that, I started walking around the city, which was Sofia, oh, one time I was in front of the South Bus Station and there were a lot of police, but not so many at the train station itself, and I started walking along the side of the tracks, there was a small path. At one point, this path led me to some kind of small factory and I entered through the back entrance and there were two employees who asked me why I was there and I simply said, "I was walking along the road and it brought me here, I just want to continue." And they let me go. Then I got back to the city somehow and caught some strange three-story bus, the third floor was like a globe with 5 seats and there was no one there. I sat there and watched as there were police at every stop. Then I got off the bus and got on the metro. I was in the subway with headphones on and right in front of me was a policeman who looked at me and said something to me but I closed my eyes and waited for him to arrest me. When I opened them I was back in a place like the American open canals under the bridges and there was a shop. I had in my wallet exactly as much money as I actually have and I went in and bought three 1 liter bottles of Devin pink label, 2 Borovets blue wafers and 1 pack of cigarettes. Then I left the shop and my alarm went off and woke me up
Dreams involving themes of violence, escape, and being pursued by authority figures can be quite intense and reveal underlying emotions or situations in your waking life. Here's a breakdown of some key elements in your dream and their possible meanings:
Isolation in the Office: Starting your dream in an empty office may symbolize feelings of loneliness or a lack of support in your work or personal life. It might reflect a sense of being overwhelmed or the pressure you feel in your professional environment.
The Act of Killing: Dreaming of committing murder can signify a desire to eliminate something in your life that you find unbearable, perhaps a negative emotion, a habit, or a toxic relationship. This act may express frustrations or repressed feelings that have reached a boiling point.
Pursuit and Paranoia: The series of events following the murder, where you are trying to escape from the police, could represent a fear of facing the consequences of your actions or decisions. It may suggest a sense of paranoia in your life — perhaps you're worrying about being judged or caught in a lie.
The Companion: The fact that you were trying to reach out to someone (you) who ends up getting caught can illustrate feelings of guilt or responsibility towards those around you. It could reflect a fear of being unable to protect loved ones or the consequences of dragging them into your troubles.
Urban Setting: The movement through familiar urban landscapes (like Sofia) suggests that you are navigating through familiar life challenges. Places like the bus station and the subway may symbolize the journey you are on, the connections you are maintaining, or how you feel about the direction your life is taking.
Searching for Escape: Your attempts to find ways out—such as taking unconventional paths or using public transport—could signify a quest for a way to resolve your issues but feeling trapped. You might feel like you seek freedom from pressures or responsibilities.
Purchasing Items: Ending your dream by purchasing specific items could represent a return to normalcy or everyday life despite the chaos around you. It may reflect a need to find comfort or small joys amidst uncertainty.
The Alarm: Waking up just as you’re about to confront a police officer can indicate unresolved tension. It might suggest that you need to confront certain fears or anxieties in your waking life but felt unprepared to deal with them in the dream.
In summary, your dream seems to revolve around themes of isolation, guilt, and the desire to escape from difficult circumstances or consequences. It may be insightful to reflect on current challenges you face in your waking life and how they might feel overwhelming, leading to thoughts of wanting to "escape" from them. Consider seeking support or finding healthy ways to address underlying issues or emotions that might be contributing to your feelings of pressure or anxiety.
